7:30 am Ages 5 - 10 Start
8:30 am Ages 11 - 15 Start
(Athlete age is on 12/31 of the current year)

This is a chip timed race and USA Triathlon Sanctioned Event.

FORMAT:
Swim Course - Snake swim in pool
Junior Athletes = 100 yards
Senior Athletes = 200 yards
Bike Course
Swim Course - Snake swim in pool | Junior Athletes = 100 yards
Senior Athletes = 200 yards
Bike Course - Junior Athletes = 1 Loop = 2.35 Miles
Seniors = 2 Loops = 4.7 Miles
Run Course | Junior Athletes = 1 Loop = 1 Mile
Senior Athletes = 2 Loops = 2 Miles
Course Info: NEW COURSE FOR 2021
Police will be located at all major intersections along with volunteers at key locations.
Cones will mark a lane all the way round the course to enclose the athletes from any vehicles.
Bike Minded Guru will be on-site for bike support!
Run Course
Junior Athletes = 1 Loop = 1 Mile Senior Athletes = 2 Loops = 2 Miles
There will be a Water Station located as athletes come out of transition and when they make their second loop.
Course follows the trail around the lake of the community. Run Number Bib must be worn during the run portion of the race.
VENUE:
The race will be through the beautiful new master-planned community of Woodtrace. The swim will be in the Woodtrace Recreation Center pool, the bike ride around the neighborhood and the run will be on the trails (sidewalks) around Lake Woodtrace.
Lauren Kelly from KPRC Channel 2's Houston Life will emcee this event! Smart Drinks will be serving complimentary natural fruit smoothies and Americanos, Lattes and Cappuccinos.
PACKET PICK UP:
Friday. August 13, 4 to 7 PM at the Woodtrace Recreation Center Clubhouse.
Saturday. August 14, 2 to 5 PM at the Woodtrace Recreation Center Clubhouse.
Race Day Packet Pick-Up - Sunday, August 15, 5:30 to 6:30 AM
PRIZES AND AWARDS:
Everyone who participates will receive a race t-shirt and goodie bag plus a finisher MEDAL.
- Award trophies for first, second and third male and female top finishers in each age group as well as OVERALL Top male and female in Jr. and Sr. categories.
- There will even be prize drawings at our post-race party!
