The Woodtrace Wilderness Kids Triathlon will return on Sunday, August 15, 2021. The event has new Race Management for 2021: Fowlkes Events, the race team that puts on the Woodlands Marathon and the Texas Ten Series Races.
The event will also have a new bike course for 2021. New sections have been added to the community since the last race in 2019 and there is now a "loop" around the community so that kids will not have to snake through the neighborhood and make as many turns.

This USAT Triathlon sanctioned event will be through the beautiful master-planned community of Woodtrace. The swim will be in the Woodtrace Recreation Center pool, the bike ride around the neighborhood and run will be on the trails around Lake Woodtrace.

8:30 am Ages 11-15 Short Course Start
Swim Course - Snake swim in pool | Junior Athletes = 100 yards
Senior Athletes = 200 yards
Bike Course - Junior Athletes = 1 Loop = 2.35 Miles
Seniors = 2 Loops = 4.7 Miles
Run Course | Junior Athletes = 1 Loop = 1 Mile
Senior Athletes = 2 Loops = 2 Miles
Everyone who participates will receive a race t-shirt and goodie bag plus a finisher MEDAL. There will also be awards for top female and male finishers in each age category. There will also be prize drawings at our post-race party!
