Woodtrace Named Best Overall Community by the Texas Association of Builders

Texas Star Award

Friendswood Development Company’s Woodtrace community in the Tomball Area was honored with a Texas Star Award by the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) on Thursday, July 15th at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. Woodtrace was named as Best Overall Community, 300-599 Acres by the TAB. The highly-coveted Texas Star Awards are presented annually in conjunction with the Sunbelt Builders Show to recognize excellence in all areas of the home building industry.

“We are very honored to receive this recognition from our peers,” said Friendswood Development Company Vice President Michael Johnson. “We work very hard to craft communities that residents love coming home to every day.” Woodtrace is a gated community that has an impressive amenity package, beautiful natural amenities and landscaping, and impressive homes by some of Houston’s very finest home builders. Fun community events are also part of the overall plan for residents to enjoy.

In 1992, the Texas Association of Builders launched the Texas Star Awards; the only statewide tribute to excellence in the home building industry.
