Tomball Plans For Annual Firework Display

It’s difficult to imagine celebrating Independence Day without fireworks. Tomball’s annual Fourth of July fireworks display is still planning to light up the skies; however, the street festival has been cancelled due to coronavirus.

Spectators will be able to watch the fireworks go off at 9:30 p.m. from parking lots along the “Four Corners” at FM 2920 and Highway 249. The show lasts approximately 20 minutes and attendees can tune in to 95.3 for accompanying music.

The annual street festival would typically have included food vendors, live music and a kids area. It had also previously included tributes to veterans and active duty military.

The Tomball festival began in 2011 and has continued to grow. Last year's celebration brought in close to 19,500 visitors, not including those that set up in parking lots to view the show. It has been ranked as the second largest event in Harris County, behind Houston.

Come out to Tomball and enjoy the show!
