Tomball ISD Purchases BJ Services Campus for $39.5 Million

Tomball ISD made an announcement on August 17th that they have just purchased the BJ services former headquarters. The district purchased over 70 acres of campus space for $39.5 million. This expansion will be a game-changer.

Tomball ISD Superintendent Martha Salazar-Zamora said that this acquisition is a “game-changer” for their district.

Tomball ISD aims to procure an additional $567.5 million in bond packages into renovating the area, which they are now referring to as the Eastside Complex. In this space, Tomball ISD plans to include:

  • Tomball Star Academy
  • CTE Programs: Space for career and technical education
  • An industrial park
  • Lab space
  • A new district elementary school
  • And more

Tomball ISD is looking forward to providing centralized education for technical training such as heavy machinery operation, welding, and other high-value, hands-on industry experience and technical skills as well.
