Tomball High School Dancer Cast in Houston Repertoire Ballet’s, The Nutcracker

Danika McNees will be performing in the classic holiday piece, The Nutcracker, on December 6 through 8 at the Tomball Theatre! Danika is one of three Tomball ISD students chosen to dance in this performance with Houston Repertoire Ballet. Each of the dancers selected have shown exceptional discipline and hard work through balancing schoolwork and dance training since joining this pre-professional dance company. If the Woodtrace community would like to support Tomball High School’s dancer, please purchase tickets on the Houston Repertoire Ballet’s Event page.

The Houston Repertoire Ballet Company was founded by nationally recognized teachers and choreographers, Gilbert Rome and Victoria Vittum. The purpose of this non-profit dance organization is to “provide the finest classical ballet instruction, education, and performance experience to local gifted students.” Many dancers from this company have continued to pursue this art professionally with the “American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, Colorado Ballet, Miami City Ballet and many more.”
