Local Tomball Clinic's Ceremony and Reopening

We know that when a business recognizes and is committed to the needs in our Tomball, TX community, it’s going to be a good day.

TOMAGWA Health Care Ministries is celebrating the reopening of their Magnolia clinic today, August 9, 2019 with an event at 12:30pm starting with a tour and reception. “U.S Representative Kevin Brady - R - The Woodlands will be the guest speaker for the ceremony at 1:00 p.m., and there will be additional tours at 1:30 p.m.,” according to Community Impact. This is a great opportunity to get involved within the community and show support to a nonprofit whose mission is to “provide quality health care, offer hope and restore dignity to uninsured, low-income families and individuals.”

This TOMAGWA Magnolia clinic is located at:

18230 FM 1488, Ste. 21
Magnolia, TX

The clinics’ name comes from Tomball, Magnolia and Waller, and serves Harris, Montgomery, and Waller counties. This clinic is only a 15 minute drive from our Woodtrace Community. TOMAGWA offers services for medical, dental, vision, lab, pharmacy, and case management. Specific services include “acute and chronic illness, children’s wellness, women’s wellness, men’s wellness, breast cancer screenings, cardiac evaluations, comprehensive Type II diabetes management, respiratory therapy, vision and hearing screenings, lab work and tests, nutrition counseling and specialists referrals.” TOMAGWA’s practitioners are a combination of medical staff and volunteers who believe that they are placed in their communities to serve the people. TOMAGWA has been reopened since August 1, and will be open two to three days each week, according to Community Impact Tomball | Magnolia. The Magnolia clinic was forced to close temporarily when financial strains became apparent in March 2019 but they have found ways to overcome this struggle to continue serving the community. The ministry has been operating for 30 years and is hoping to serve for many more. They have 2 free State of the Ministry Dinners coming up, and a charity golfing event that you can volunteer or play at! All they ask for is that those interested in attending to please RSVP.
