The next time you're looking for something different, consider this. The Morris family opened Bonfire Grill about three years ago with the goal to bring high-quality food, wine, beer and spirits to downtown Tomball, so the family hired General Manager Thomas Perez, a world-renowned sommelier—a wine steward who specializes in wine service as well as wine and food pairing. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner menus, which add an international influence to new American fare, Morris said, including dishes such as pan-seared avocado cakes, brick-oven pizzas, specialty burgers and pork ragu. Additionally, Bonfire offers high-end bourbons, whiskeys and wines, which few restaurants in the Greater Houston area offer.
